a fathers day to remember

I had this idea to build a book for my boyfriend for father's day.  I wanted to make him something special to show him how special he is to me,  my boys and his own kids. We've known eachother nearly 20 years,  we have been friends for nearly all of those 20 years,  who would have thought we would find out all these years later that we could make eachother so happy.

With the help of his ex wife(whom i am still friends with) who provided the pictures - i set in on my adventure.
Being a mans book i kept my colors natural and my patterns not so bold.. i chose paper from prima..i loved the vintage feal and the colors were perfect.
I printed 14  5x7 photos and 18 wallet size photos.
To accent i grabbed some metal embellishments.
My seam accents were not over powering,  a few misc. Rubber stamps and an amazing stamp set from "acreativejourneywithmelissa.com " called "for my boys". ( It is one of my favorite stamp sets ever. )

After about 4 hours total, stretched over three days... It was finished.  All that is left to add are the letters being written by his kids. .. (i have blank tags in place marking where i will slip those in).
