Oh My!!!
I am not sure what it is about them, but I love them. They always make me feel better when I see them out and about. I try and use them in my creations because somehow, they symbolize transformation to me.
They are so delicate yet seem to survive regardless.
I like to believe that it is Gods way of reminding me of the bigger picture.
When I look back at where I started as a crafter I realize that just like these amazingly beautiful little creatures, my creations have evolved into something that I am no longer hiding from the world. They may not look special to someone else, but they are special to me and because of that, I share my ideas as often as I can.
There are two types of people in this world; Givers and Takers.
It is up to each of us to choose which type we are. Sometimes we find that we are a bit of both... but in the end, the way we are, the way we treat each other, and the way we live our lives will transform someone else just by our actions or mere words. Caring is free- making a difference is priceless.
When I look back on my life, I know that I will find comfort knowing that in everything I have given in my life, I gave it my all and then some. My father used to say, "Why bother doing a "half-assed" job when it takes the same amount of time to do it right". Words I live by for sure.
